I think everyone would have to agree that the real estate market is BAD…right?!? WRONG!!! A lot of people’s perception of what the ‘market’ is and has been doing is based off of what they see on tv, the news, and may hear on the radio. “Oh people aren’t buying homes”, “I paid too much for my home and will never be able to sell it”, “Its not time to buy” are all things that you probably have heard from SOMEONE you know and some of it can’t be farther from the truth. With the $8,000 tax credit deadline coming due, I’ve been busier than I can remember and have sold more homes this month then I have in YEARS!! I even put a clients home (1981 sq. ft) on the market on a Tuesday afternoon for $174,900 and SOLD it that Sunday with a full price offer…6 days!!! I’m saying all of this to basically let you know, DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE (the NEGATIVE hype that is)…people ARE buying homes!!
